Liederabend

Liederabend

I have a Liederabend (song recital) in Karlsruhe tonight, with my Aussie colleague, Kate Tier and pianist John Parr. I’m singing Vaughan Williams’ Songs of Travel, and a world premiere of three songs – settings of Walt Whitman – by Anno Schreier. Kate is singing Britten’s A Charm of Lullabies and Mahler’s Kindertotenlieder (songs on the death of children).
