The art of celebration – new album from Rend Collective

The art of celebration – new album from Rend Collective

There’s been a bunch of great releases over the last few weeks, and I’ve already blogged about some of them, and there’s more to come..
If you’re into worship music and you don’t know about the Rend Collective then you’re missing out. Their Northern Irish new-grass sound is really catchy (they predate Mumford & Sons btw), and are shaking up the CCM Worship Industry(tm). I loved their ‘handmade’ album from a few years back, and I’ve been enjoying their latest ‘The Art of Celebration’ while on the crosstrainer the last few days.

Standout tracks for me (i.e. ones which might reasonably find their way into our services) are More than conquerorsImmeasurably more, and Boldly I approach which lyrically has a kind of hymn mash-up feel.
